If this year’s Durban Day line-up is anything to go by the stage is set for one of the best events yet! Among those performing at Moses Mabhida’s Peoples Park on Sunday 9 September are big names like the world-famous Parlotones, afro-soul singer Lira and fiercely popular Johnny Clegg.

East Coast Radio Durban Day in association with the Sunday Times is seen by many as a highlight on KZN’s events calendar. It’s a chance for the whole family to enjoy some of the country’s top bands live in a relaxed setting while basking in Durban’s warm spring weather. Last year more than 8000 people delighted in having great local artists perform in the province. This year’s full line-up has been revealed and should have wide appeal with it offering genres like Jazz, Pop, Rock and everything in between.

The line-up is as follows:

Platform Jazz
Idols finalists
Yoav
Toya Delazy
Johnny Clegg
Lira
GoodLuck
Parlotones

Aside from the on stage entertainment, there will also be a Kids Zone to keep little ones entertained. The secure area will boast face painting, balloon sculpting and jumping castles. There will also be a wide variety of food and beverages on sale.
